The Los Angeles Lakers once again celebrated a glorious victory against the Boston Celtics in the NBA finals. Bryant, Gasol and Artest had a terrific game, each earning some well-deserved points. As the teams prepare for the next season of basketball, there are currently some top point-scoring international players making headlines and hoping to hit the big leagues.





Carlos Delfino is a professional player from Argentina. Famous for his strong defensive skills, he became the first-ever player from his country to be selected for the first round of the NBA Draft. He is currently playing with the Toronto Raptors, who finished with a very promising season in 2008. At present, he is averaging 9 points and looking forward to a winning year with the team. After his recent acceptance of a three-year offer, fans are expecting a lot of big things from this Serbian favourite.
